Lead Pastor Sparky Clancy, wife Myndii, and Family
Sparky Clancy grew up farming in southern Idaho. Having heard the Gospel through a youth outreach group, he placed his faith in Jesus at age eight. He went on to attend Bible College to then serve in the local church as a youth leader, Bible teacher, and preached in various churches. The Lord called him to the Democratic Republic of Congo where he worked for over a decade reinforcing churches with discipleship training and leadership development. Returning to Idaho due to political issues in Congo, he was called to serve as pastor with Notus Baptist Church. He continues to be passionate about church revitalization and the development of future ministry leaders.
Pastor Cleve Clucas, and Wife, Jean
Pastor Cleve and Jean were goth raised in Christian homes and both came to saving faith in Jesus Christ at an early age. They met at Bible college in Salem, Oregon. Cleve graduated in 1973 and he and Jean were married in 1974. They have served our Lord together in many local church ministries over the years.
Cleve was called to be the pastor of Notus Baptist Church in September of 1999, and served in that position until December of 2016.
Cleve and Jean have served as members of the church, serving in various areas of ministry. They have two daughters and sons-in-law, and six grandchildren. Cleve and Jean enjoy hosting others in their home, going to family gatherings, and working in their yard.
