Missions

Missions1_edited.png

"'Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'  How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?  And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?  And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?  And how can they preach unless they are sent?  As it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the Good News!'"  Romans 10:13-15

Missions plays a vital role in taking the good news to those have have not heard.  That is one reason Notus Baptist Church partners with and sponsors the missionaries on this page.

But missions is not just for those traveling over-seas or to other countries. We are ALL called to be a part of missions as the Body of Christ.

This page is interactive! Please reach-out to our missionaries; become familiar with the work God is doing through them, offer a word of encouragement, or let them know your are partnering with them in prayer.

Together, we can help bring the Good News to the world!

I am Kyler Beck

My ministry is Crossroads College Ministry. We bring the Gospel to college students and other young adults at Idaho State University.

We desire to to expose non-Christian students to the gospel of Christ and to challenge Christian students to a deeper, more dynamic walk with Christ so that their lives will impact the world around them.

Our teaching seeks to provide you with biblical principles to assist you in making godly decisions in all areas of your life. In addition, our weekly meetings offer opportunities to hang out and build relationships with students who realize that there is more to college life than simply preparing for a career.

Please pray for those students with whom we have shared the Gospel. Click the Prayer List link below:

We are Daniel & Christine Grings,

Serving in the Democratic Republic of Congo

Growing up in the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire) as a missionary kid was a privilege and a blessing. I came to know Christ as my personal Savior at the age of seven during a rebellion in  Zaire. Christine grew up in Sandy, Utah, and came to know Christ at the age of 12 in a small Baptist  Mid-Missions church while attending Awana. As a couple, Christine and I arrived in Zaire (Congo) in  August 1983. We had the privilege of living and serving in the interior jungles from August 1983 to  December 1995. There we taught in a Bible Institute, preached in the local church and traveled with  the Bible school students planting churches within a 100-mile radius. During the civil war in 1997, our interior mission station was ransacked and looted. In 1998, we relocated to the capital city of Kinshasa  and have had the privilege of serving as Pastor of the local church Nsango na Bomoi since 2001. Our ministry opportunities include Pastoral responsibilities and ministries, teaching in a Bible Institute,  teaching chapels in both primary and secondary schools, and traveling extensively throughout Congo to evangelize and encourage local bodies of believers. We also work closely with our national leaders in our Association of Baptist Churches in Congo. We have seven children, five son-in-laws, and have been blessed abundantly with 26 grandchildren and one on the way.
